How to get the lowest hotel prices on Samui beaches - BOOK DIRECT
Hotels give the best room rates to guests who book directly. Cut out agents & commissions, save cash for the hotels, and some will pass some savings back to direct guests. And we take no commission.
See the list on this page of hotels that GUARANTEE, in writing, to discount below all on-line rates for direct bookings. Then contact the hotels via the e-mail box on each hotel page.
This site also offers DISCOUNT ROOM VOUCHERS – the cheapest prices available in Samui. But these are limited in number, and have conditions. See Top Deals on the Koh Samui page or Click to see all Koh Samui deals here.

Lipa Noi Beach and its spacious, quiet resorts provide on of Samui's best tranquil getaways
This west coast beach facing the sunset over the Ang Thong Islands is not Samui's most beautiful, yet it has a relaxed, village atmosphere that many love. And there is something of an anomaly here: this is a quiet stretch of the island, with one of the trendiest beach clubs in all Samui.
Samui's west coast beaches are protected from the pounding of the main monsoon waves, and are thus less developed, with coarser sand than those in the East. The beaches are pretty, but not spectacular. Shallow water means swimming is generally only good at high tide. But of course they are good for beach walking at all times. There are more fishing and coconut farming communities here, and the atmosphere is more 'Thai style' than tourist.
We have qualified 7 beachfront hotels here, most 3-star and 4-star, but with some luxury beach cottages mixed in. Viva Vacation Resort, Rajapreuk Samui Resort and Lipa Lovely all provide mid-range, good value accommodation and would make good beach escapes for those seeking real relaxation in a natural, tranquil environment.
While there is little entertainment on this side of the island, the anomaly is the ultra-trendy Nikki Beach Club, where you are treated to good music in plush surroundings. Fine sunset dining is also available at the 5 Islands Restaurant, but otherwise the dining choices here are beach shanties that come and go each season, selling som tum, sticky rice and other Isarn food.
