How to find the best hotel deals on Thai beaches?
Book direct with the hotel. With no commissions, this saves the hotel money. Some hotels then pass savings back to the guest - but not all. We thus identify all beachfront hotels in Thailand that GUARANTEE, in writing, discounts for direct bookings. If Trang beaches have no Guarantee hotels listed, go to the Thailand map page for the full list. We put you in direct contact with the hotel, and take no commission.

Trang, an province of beautiful, remote tropical islands on Thailand’s Andaman coast

.
Six little-known islands and a stunning mainland beach in this remote corner of Thailand offer adventure – getting there – and about 30 different accommodations from 3-star island resorts to rustic beach cottages. Everything here is true beachfront. Once offering only backpacker bamboo huts, these islands now offer more comfortable rooms, fine dining and modern comforts. There are a few truly stylish, design hotels here.
.
The 3 northern islands have classic tropical coconut beaches. Some think the soft sand beach at the north of Koh Muk is Thailand's most beautiful beach (see photos). All 3 islands are all washed by crystal clear water and have nearby coral reefs for snorkeling. Most beaches are good for swimming. See detailed info on each island.
.
The 3 islands to the south are very different, less developed and more difficult to access. Koh Sukorn and Koh Libong are quite large, with villages on each. Rubber plantations have replaced most natural forest. The locals are Muslim, so topless bathing is frowned upon. Each island has a small network of rough roads and motorcycle tracks, with motorcycle taxis at the arrival jetties of both. You rarely see a car on these roads.
.
Sukorn and Libong are closer to the mainland, and do not have the deep clear waters or white sand of the outer islands. The beaches, however, are pretty and deserted, even in the 'high' season. Koh Bulon, out in deeper water, has a beautiful tropical beach with crystal clear water and offshore coral reefs.
