Natai Beach is one of the quietest, and prettiest beaches on Thailand’s Andaman coast

Phang Nga West currently comprises only Natai Beach, but watch for major expansion along this stretch of mainland coast in the coming years as luxury villas and beachfront spa resorts spring up on the undeveloped, tropical beach here. Currently there are just a few 4- and 5-star resorts and rental villas here, with many more planned.
.
Off Phuket island, but so close, this stretch of white sandy beach can be reached from Phuket airport faster than Patong or the other famous beaches of Phuket. Yet it is a world away. There are many kilometres of empty tropical sand, and just one real village, along this coast. The beach is very straight straight. While is is narrow in some places, the sand can be wide and luxurious in others, as it is at the sleek Aleenta Resort and the rustic Hotspring Beach Resort. See photos of both.
.
The resorts here are distinctly regal, catering to those who seek beach spas, complete relaxation and gourmet dining. Because of the lack of outside entertainment and activities, the resorts here focus on pampering their guests with graceful Thai service, and with a focus on massage on the beach, special spa treatments, fine wining & dining and an old favourite, sunset drinks.
.
This area has no outside restaurants or entertainment, bringing most visitors here to make at least one trip to Phuket. It takes a little over an hour to drive to the major entertainment and dining beaches of the island.
